WAIVIS tambour door quality has just got better!

WAIVIS have improved the quality of their tambour units by using The Ultrasonic Welding solution for tambour fabrication, this is a definite step forward from the current method of taping, as it provides increased performance and durability.

During the testing phase by a REHAU engineer the weld was found to be stronger than the taped version of the tambour fabrication. A taped sample failed at 8kg. The welded version was unbroken at 20Kg!

For customers who prefer not to fabricate themselves, Waivis will continue to offer its unique bespoke tambour fabrication service as well as a range of pre-assembled tambour cassettes designed specifically for UK kitchens.
