WAIVIS tambour door quality has just got better!

WAIVIS have improved the quality of their tambour units by using The Ultrasonic Welding solution for tambour fabrication, this is a definite step forward from the current method of taping, as it provides increased performance and durability.

During the testing phase by a REHAU engineer the weld was found to be stronger than the taped version of the tambour fabrication. A taped sample failed at 8kg. The welded version was unbroken at 20Kg!

WAIVIS will soon be launching a Standard Range of its most popular tambour profiles, locks and handles as well as offering its customers access to the REHAU Express Collection range of furniture components.

This unique collaboration will allow Waivis’ customers to choose from a new world of products available ex-stock which will include tambours, edgebands, wall seal and even solid surface materials.

A choice of new and exciting decorative designs will be backed up by expert know-how, small pack quantities and credit card payment.

For customers who prefer not to fabricate themselves, Waivis will continue to offer its unique bespoke tambour fabrication service as well as a range of pre-assembled tambour cassettes designed specifically for UK kitchens.

Waivis has had a great review from one of its customers Kinetic Laboratories. Dave Taylor - Project Manager said "Waivis provided a great service on its Cassette Tambour doors, the delivery was spot on and they looked really good in situ. They stayed in position when you let go of the handle and there was no FREEFALL problem which we have experienced when using other makes of shutter." He finished with saying how really pleased he was with the service, communication, quailty and delivery.

At Waivis we have always pride ourselves on providing the best experience and service levels to our customers. One way we felt we could improve on this is by improving our website. Our customers now have access to a whole host of product information made entirely relevant for their area of interest whether that’s kitchens, Office, retail/shopfitting or for something completely bespoke. All our information is viewable online, and can be downloaded as a PDF. We have also added an online enquiry form to help our customers decide what sort of tambour they need, and help us give quotes to you even quicker!
